Designing for
everywhere at once

Working within a team at GPJ, I helped lead the UX/UI and interaction design for Cisco's AI Observatory at Cisco Live EMEA,  a 3m × 30m 360° LED room that brought real-time AI data to life through generative visuals, sound, and interactive telescopes. My role spanned the full experience: physical spatial design, digital interface design, and the interaction logic that connected the two. The telescopes gave attendees direct access to AI insights and industry-specific tutorials, pulling live data from the surrounding walls in real time.

The core design challenge was spatial fairness. In a 360° room, nobody should feel like they're standing in the wrong place, every position had to offer something to look at, something to interact with. The telescopes were the trickiest element, constantly evolving in how they pulled and displayed data from the surrounding walls. I went through multiple storyboard iterations to get the interaction logic feeling intuitive rather than instructional. What I'm proudest of is that the final experience held its immersiveness wherever you stood. In a space that size, that was harder than it sounds.
