Ai Observatory - Cisco Live

Agency: GPJ

Client: Cisco

Role: UX/UI , Interaction Design, Art Direction

Working in a team to create the UX/UI design for Cisco's groundbreaking AI Observatory at Cisco Live EMEA. I shaped the complete user experience for this first-of-its-kind, 360° immersive AI Universe. My role encompassed designing both the physical and digital interfaces within a 3m x 30m LED room that brought data to life with real-time generative visuals and sound. This innovative experience blended generative tech with artful design to showcase Cisco's AI leadership, offering attendees clear insights into developing their own AI strategies through interactive telescopes with deep AI insights and industry-specific tutorials.

PROCESS:
The core design challenge was one of spatial fairness, in a 360° room, nobody should feel like they're standing in the wrong place. Every position had to offer something to look at, something to interact with. The telescopes were the trickiest element, constantly evolving in how they pulled and displayed data from the surrounding walls, I went through multiple storyboard iterations to get the interaction logic feeling intuitive rather than instructional. I was responsible for the storyboarding and UX/UI design throughout, and what I'm proudest of is that the final experience held its immersiveness wherever you stood. In a space that size, which was harder than it sounds.
